Sen. Gregg: national debt biggest issue confronting U.S.

On C‑SPAN’s Newsmakers, Sen. Judd Gregg
(R-NH), ranking member of the Senate Budget Cmte. said that the biggest challenge confronting the U.S. is the budget deficit. He added that health care reform should not add to the national debt and that Republicans will lower health care costs with upcoming bill amendments. He also believes that a health care bill will pass the Senate.
