Al Gore testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Cmte. and asked lawmakers not to let the current economic situation get in the way of addressing global warming. The Cmte. is considering energy options in anticipation of the United Nations' climate talks, scheduled for December in Copenhagen, Denmark.
