Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) speak back-to-back in the Senate floor about what should be included in the next coronavirus stimulus package. Senator McConnell says the measure will include another round of direct payments to Americans, as well as funding for the Paycheck Protection Program. Senator Schumer accuses Republicans of trying to please corporate interests. He also weighs in on President Trump's decision to resume holding White House Coronavirus Task Force briefings, saying that he should not participate in them because of the misinformation he has provided to the public in past briefings on the pandemic and the federal response. close
