19 minutesFormer President Donald Trump visited a local convenience store in upper Manhattan following the second day of his hush-money trial in New York. The Sanaa Convenience Store was the scene of a violent crime against an employee in July of 2022. Former President Trump met with the current owner of the store before speaking to reporters. He spoke about the trial against him in New York City on a hush-money trial and addressed the possible ousting of House Speaker Johnson.

Campaign 2024: President Biden Remarks in Scranton, PA
33 minutes"Scranton values or Mar-a-Lago values, these are the competing visions for our economy," President Joe Biden told voters while campaigning in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The president repeatedly criticized former President Donald Trump and referred to his economic policy as a trickle-down economics that he said has, "failed the middle class." The president also told supporters if reelected, he'd restore the Child Tax Care Credit and provide a tax credit for first time homeowners. Scranton is President Biden's hometown.

Aviation Safety Specialists Testify on Boeing Safety Culture
2 hours, 1 minuteAviation safety specialists testified on Boeing's safety culture amid ongoing issues with its planes midair during a public hearing before the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee. They discussed many issues including the Alaska Airlines door plug failure while in the air, reports of employees being penalized for raising safety concerns, and the role the FAA has in ensuring aircraft safety enforcement. Witnesses included Tracy Dillinger, NASA's safety culture and human factors manager, and Javier de Luis, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) aeronautics and astronautics lecturer whose sister passed away in the 2019 Ethiopian Airlines crash involving a Boeing 737 MAX 8. That deadly crash along with another one prompted regulators in the U.S. and worldwide to ground all Boeing 737 Max planes for inspections. In the U.S., these aircrafts were grounded for 20 months before they were recertified for safety by the FAA and resumed flights in December 2020.

President Biden Meets With Iraqi Prime Minister
15 minutes"Together with our partners, we defeated that attack," said President Biden of the recent Iranian airstrikes in Israel and the response by the United States and its allies. The president addressed the attacks at the start of a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, who was in to discuss U.S.-Iraqi relations. The president also re-iterated the United States' commitment to Israel to defend itself and reaffirmed the need for a ceasefire "that will bring the hostages home and prevent the conflict from spreading." Before their closed-door meeting, both leaders spoke on the importance of the U.S. -Iraq relationship, economic partnerships, and their shared goals to defeat terrorism and maintain security in the region.

Homeland Security Secretary Testifies on President's 2025 Budget
3 hours, 22 minutesHomeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas stressed the need for the House to pass the Senate's bipartisan immigration bill as he faced criticism from Republicans for his handling of the immigration crisis at the Southern Border during a public hearing. The secretary appeared before the House Homeland Security Committee to testify on President Biden's 2025 budget request. Other topics discussed included flood insurance, cybersecurity concerns, preventing online child exploitation, workforce challenges, fentanyl interdiction at the Southern Border, and threats posed by gangs and cartels. This hearing ended shortly before the House delivered impeachment articles against Secretary Mayorkas to the Senate.
