When asked about Republican chances of keeping the House majority after the election, Speaker Johnson was confident Republicans would keep the House while gaining control of the White House and the Senate.

Ukrainian President Zelensky Addresses U.N. General Assembly

"Ukraine wants to end this war more than anyone in the world," said Zelensky before later criticizing the proposed peace charter. In addition, Zelensky accused Russia, China, Brazil, and African nations of imposing a "colonial past" on Ukraine and warned of a devastating nuclear disaster if Russia attacks Ukrainian nuclear power plants. In addition, he called for the United Nations to be "united, nations" to bring peace to Ukraine.

Campaign 2024: Fmr. Pres. Trump Remarks in Georgia on the Tax Code
1 hour, 26 minutes2024 Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump referred to Democratic challenger Vice president Kamala Harris as the "Tax Queen" during remarks on tax policy. The former president criticized VP Harris' policies for the economy and laid out his vision for the U.S. economy. He outlined Tariffs and manufacturing as key components of his economic plan with a fifteen percent "made in America" corporate tax rate for companies who make their products in the U.S. For the auto industry, a one-hundred percent tariff will be imposed on vehicles made in Mexico coming to the U.S. In describing his plan for the auto industry, the former president added "we want American citizens and their plants built here." While vowing to save "Black and Latino jobs" he urged autoworkers to go to the polls and vote. His remarks came just 42 days before the general election.
