The president doubled down on his support for Israel to defend itself and called for a hostage and ceasefire deal in Gaza. In addition, the president called for a diplomatic solution to prevent the expansion of the conflict in the Middle East and called for sustained support for Ukraine in the Russia-Ukraine war.

"Ukraine wants to end this war more than anyone in the world," said Zelensky before later criticizing the proposed peace charter.
