The gymnasts explained their interactions with FBI agents and accused investigators of misrepresenting, and covering up their claims of abuse.
FBI Director Christopher Wray and Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz testified in the second panel. Mr. Wray apologized to Dr. Nassar’s victims and talked about the changes that have been implemented at the FBI related to child sexual abuse cases. Inspector General Horowitz detailed his report on the FBI’s failures and the misconduct of the FBI employees who were involved in the investigation.
