President Trump Address at Krasinski Square
47 minutesOn his first visit to Poland, President Trump delivered an address to a crowd gathered in the historic Krasinski Square in Warsaw, site of the 1944 uprising against the Nazis. He talked about the spirit of the Polish people and the enduring relationship they have with the U.S. and Europe. He also addressed the "age of terrorism" that continues to threaten the peace and stability in the West and called on Russia to end their "destabilizing activities" in Ukraine. In his speech, President Trump also said he stands firmly behind the collective NATO defense principle, Article 5, but warned that "words are easy" and Europe must do more. Prior to his speech, he particiapted in a wreath-laying ceremony with the Polish President and was later introduced by First Lady Melania Trump.

European Parliament Memorial for Helmut Kohl 1930-2017

The former leader died on June 16, 2017. Leaders reflected on how Mr. Kohl was instrumental in the the reunification of Germany and was credited for the modernization of the European Union. Helmut Kohl served as Germany's longest chancellor from 1982 to 1998. Other leaders including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Mr. Kohl's wife were also in attendance.

Discussion on Housing Finance Reform
