NAFTA Farm Groups News Conference

Representatives of the three countries have begun a new round of talks to modernize the 23-year-old pact by early 2018 following President Trump's campaign pledge to renegotiate it. This event was held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.

Immigration Policy Discussion with Rep. Steny Hoyer D-MD

Hoyer stressed the need for comprehensive immigration legislation that creates a pathway to U.S. citizenship. Several DACA recipients talked about the challenges of being an undocumented immigrant and positive impacts of the DACA program. This event was hosted United We Dream and CASA, an immigration advocacy group.
