President Trump and Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar met with a group of vaping and e-cigarettes advocates, anti-tobacco activists, and other industry executives to talk about the increase in young people using the products. Several points were raised during the meeting including increasing age restrictions, banning flavored e-cigarette products that some felt targeted young people, and protecting small businesses. Sen. Mitt Romney, a critic of flavored e-cigarettes, said in the meeting that vaping flavors like cotton candy and "unicorn poop" are drawing young people in. He added, "We've got almost six million kids addicted to nicotine and they are getting addicted to nicotine because of the flavors."
