Witnesses for the majority talked about reproductive health care being a right that should be afforded to all, how restrictions and barriers placed on reproductive health care negatively impact low income women and women of color at far greater rates than Caucasian women, and that abortion decisions are personal decisions for the individual that government should not be making. For the minority, it was argued that abortion is morally wrong, that the pro-choice movement refuses to see a fetus as a human being, and that abortion should not be viewed as the only alternative when making reproductive health care decisions.
