Mr. Bloomberg spoke about his newly released 21st Century infrastructure plan which aimed to reduce road deaths, improve mass transit and expand access to high speed internet.
New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) delivered her second State of the State address in Santa Fe. She outlined her priorities for the 30-day legislative session which include investments in early childhood programs, efforts to eliminate student tuition debt, new measures to enhance public safety and funding for senior citizen services. Gabbard spoke to people about the Doomsday Clock and other issues before taking questions from the audience. One person asked about her vote on the Articles of Impeachment, saying he believe Gabbard did a disservice to the people of Hawaii with her vote. Gabbard was again asked about impeachment by a reporter who attended the event. Reporters also asked her about the lawsuit she filed against Hillary Clinton.

Jim Lehrer, the co-founder and longtime anchor of the PBS NewsHour has died. According to a statement from PBS, he died "peacefully in his sleep at home," in Washington, DC. He was 85. In 2011, Mr. Lehrer appeared on C-SPAN's "After Words" program to talk about his book "Tension City," which chronicles televised presidential debates from Kennedy-Nixon to Obama-McCain.
