Stefanik, said calls for the genocide of Jewish people was "context-dependent." Ms. Magill later resigned amid ensuing controversy from her remarks. Other topics discussed were legislation that lowers health care costs, renewing Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, and funding the government.

He also called the separation of church and state "a misnomer" and that such a concept is not in the U.S. Constitution.
