Campaign 2024: No Labels Holds Common Sense Agenda Launch in New Hampshire

Jon Huntsman (R) were the featured speakers at an event launching the "Common Sense" policy agenda booklet by No Labels, which billed itself as a centrist political organization. The pair were introduced by No Labels founding chair Joe Lieberman and other organization leaders, and were interviewed by Kevin Cirilli, a journalist with Scripps News. They talked about why they were advocating a centrist political approach, and about No Labels' push for that approach on the 2024 presidential field. Senator Manchin did not rule out a potential independent run for president himself, and No Labels officials said they were considering running a presidential slate in 2024. After taking questions from some of those in attendance at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, Senator Manchin and Mr. Huntsman were interviewed by a number of local and national journalists.

Under an agreement made with the Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss, Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of failing to pay on time more than $200,000 in his 2017-18 taxes. However, the witnesses alleged that Attorney Weiss was not given proper authority and that the Justice Department obstructed the investigation in Mr. Biden's favor. Democrats dismissed these as well as other accusations made by Republican members, such as the Biden family engaging in influence peddling with foreign nations, disagreeing with the witnesses' interpretations of events and citing a lack of evidence from Republicans.
