Also testifying were Aaron Kowalski, president and CEO of JDRF, and Dr. Griffin Rodgers, director of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, who urged Congress to renew the Special Diabetes Program (SDP), which expires on September 30.
