Taylor Greene referenced this case, saying Mr. Trump and January 6 defendants were victims of a "weaponized government." In May of 2023, she announced plans to introduce articles of impeachment against U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves for his prosecution of participants in the attack.
