Witnesses included a veteran and a caregiver who shared their experiences of receiving benefits from the Veterans Affairs Department, as well as stakeholders from veteran advocacy organizations. All of the witnesses gave their recommendations on how VA programs can be improved, such as giving Social Security credit to caregivers and urging passage of the Elizabeth Dole Home Care Act.

NASA Holds News Conference After Boeing Starliner Launch
55 minutesBoeing and NASA officials held a news conference after the successful launch of the Boeing Starliner test flight to the International Space Station. This is Boeing's first-ever crewed mission into space. The space craft is carrying two astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams. Ms. Williams is the first woman to pilot a new space craft on its first crewed flight to space. Both Wilmore and Williams will spend eight days in space at the ISS.
