Witnesses answered questions on multiple aspects of the ongoing investigations, including intelligence gathered by U.S. officials and roadblocks to those investigations.

Homeland Security Secretary Holds Press Conference at U.S.-Mexico Border

He said there had been a surge of migration ahead of that deadline, but said misinformation from human traffickers in Central and South American continued to drive migration toward the U.S. border. He said people entering the U.S. legally would continue to receive regular consideration of their applications for legal protection, while those arriving outside of official channels would face increased scrutiny of their asylum claims.

Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S. Discusses Russia-Ukraine War
