He continued to say, "It's not the job of the states--and especially not the job of some bureaucrats in Colorado--to make this assessment and interfere with the rights of voters to cast their vote for the candidate of their choice." This resolution came days before the Supreme Court was scheduled to hear an oral argument in a case concerning former President Trump's appeal of a Colorado Supreme Court's decision ruling him ineligible to be on the state's presidential election ballot. Rep. Gaetz shared that there were a total of 63 Republicans co-sponsoring the resolution, and he urged others to join.
