New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) held a briefing in Albany on the state's response to the coronavirus pandemic. The governor announced that hospitalizations and new cases continued to decline in the state. "All the numbers are basically saying the same, that we are in fact on the downside of the mountain," he said. Gov. Cuomo also said that as testing capacity continues to increase, the eligibility requirements for who can get a test would be relaxed.
