White House Coronavirus Task Force members NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield and FDA Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn were among the witnesses who testified at a Senate hearing on the government's response to COVID-19 and reopening schools. Dr. Fauci warned that the U.S. could see up to 100,000 new cases a day and said he was "quite concerned" over the videos and photos of people not wearing masks in crowded spaces and socializing at bars and other gatherings without proper social distancing.
