The minority leader also took questions on tensions between the U.S. and Iran as well as a House resolution on limiting the president's use of force against the regime. Mr. McCarthy defended the administration's briefing of lawmakers the day before and told reporters the resolution on the floor is nonbinding and is not enforceable. The House approved the resolution 224-194.
